Why at all.
I work in civic education. What I've learned there: poverty, hunger, illness are not natural disasters. They are the result of decisions.
When I sell a jersey, profit is generated. I've decided that 5 % of it leaves the company. Not as compensation for anything. But because I don't want to act as if what I do has no consequences.
How it works.
5 % of the purchase price of every order goes to a social organisation. The transfer goes out at the end of each drop. A drop ends once it is sold out. After that, this page shows organisation, amount and proof of transfer.
Where it goes.
I don't donate to organisations I see on television. I donate to the ones I had to research. Small structures, local initiatives, projects that get by without a marketing budget.
Which organisation it will be, I decide once the amount is known.
5 % is not a big number. But it is a fixed one. That is all I can promise right now.
