taube is a small project from Munich. Limited jerseys, own designs, prices people can actually afford. Made by someone who rides himself.
Who is behind it.
I'm Finn. I'm from Ostwestfalen, have lived in Munich since 2025, and I build taube next to my full time job, evenings and weekends.
Fashion has interested me since I was a teenager. I was always the one hunting for the newest pieces. Then there's street art: I still can't get enough of how people express themselves creatively in a city. And at some point the road bike came along. The rides out of Munich are just incredible. Anyone who's had to pause for a few weeks knows how much they miss every single one.
Why taube exists.
It bothers me that nice cycling jerseys are often mostly advertising machines. At first they cost a fortune, and they only get cheaper once the hype is over.
I want to do it differently: jerseys with their own look, good quality, and prices people can actually afford. Not an overproduced brand, just things I genuinely like wearing and want to share with you.
The pigeon.
It's everywhere. A lot of people don't like it because it makes a mess of everything. And still: it's tough, gets by with little, is constantly on the move, and is completely underestimated. Actually a pretty likeable animal.
That's exactly the one I wanted on my chest. No eagle. No coat of arms. The pigeon.
A bit of chaos.
Rarely has anything in my life gone according to plan. A lot of it was coincidence, a lot of it chaos, and somehow something good usually came out of it anyway. Space works the same way, by the way: it's all chaos, and stars still form.
How a drop comes together.
Every drop starts with an idea and ends with a small, fixed edition. When it's gone, it's gone. No sale, no outlet.
Honestly, I'm learning constantly along the way, with the design as much as with coordinating the manufacturer. Every sample, every colour, every size chart gets me a bit further. I'm still at the start of this, and that's allowed to show.
Consumption has consequences, and I don't want to downplay that. That's why 5 % of the purchase price of every order goes to social projects, transferred at the end of each drop. (Impact page)
Where this is going.
My dream is collections with artists whose work I admire. There's still some way to go until then. Right now taube mostly costs me time and money, and the market is fast and fiercely competitive.
What I want most: build something cool, work with people I like, and have a genuinely good time doing it.
